ABOUT CENTRAL IOWA RIPTIDE SOFTBALL CLUB
We are Central Iowa Riptide Softball Club located in Urbandale, Iowa. Established in 2014, our program has a proud tradition of not only teaching girls softball skills but teaching them life skills. We firmly believe the lessons learned through competitive softball such as hard work, teamwork, and dealing with adversity, are skills players will benefit from long after playing softball. Our program, based on Christian values, focuses on challenging players to be the best they can be on and off the field. While this includes softball skills (catching, throwing, hitting, etc.), our focus is teaching the players to be leaders, provide positive energy, stay engaged, and ultimately become exceptional role models. Through hard work and determination, girls set high expectations for themselves, making them dedicated, coachable, and college recruitable. In addition to developing successful life skills in players, Central Iowa Riptide has a history of developing competitive teams that enjoy success both locally and regionally. Our softball teams have highly motivated and talented girls. Additionally, the Central Iowa Riptide coaching staff works hard to consistently strive to help the players reach their goals and play at the highest level of softball.
